We are seeking homeowner volunteers who would like to get more involved in the community. We are hosting committee sign-ups for the following committees. If you are interested in participating, please reach out to Amanda.Duckworth@Lennar.com.

ACC Committee: The ACC committee oversees all applications for home improvements. These include, changing the color of your home, landscape upgrades, roofs, gazebos, etc. The committee will require approximately 1-2 hours a month and can be completed from the comfort of your own home. Details and training will be provided.

Landscape Committee: The Landscape Committee oversees the landscape maintenance and improvement of all common areas. You will tour the property, assist with landscape contracts and projects upgrades. The committee will require approximately 1-2 hours a month and can primarily be completed from the comfort of your own home or car. Details and training will be provided.

Pool Committee: We need volunteers to assist with the oversite of the community pool. These individuals will tour the pool routinely, ensure safety protocols are in place and working, gather bids for repairs and improvements, hand out pool cards, ensure nightly lock-up, etc. The committee will require 1-2 hours a week, depending upon numbers of volunteers, and will require you visit the pool a few times a week.

Social Committee: The social committee oversees all facets of the community events, social media presence, partnerships within the community and the city, etc. We are looking for people who love to write, perhaps a have talent for photography, enjoy socializing and networking, or who simply want to make a difference. Whether you are friendly and outgoing, or are an introvert with a specialized talent, there is a place for you on the social committee. Our goal is to set up a minimum of four staple community events – April, July, October, and December.

Advisory Committee: Southwind Meadows if due to transition to a full homeowner board at the next annual meeting. We are looking for homeowners who are interested in participating on the future board. You will shadow the current board, review the ACCs, gain a full understanding of the governing documents, financials, current contracts, along with all other community functions. You will be able to attend board training classes (as desired). The committee will require approximately 3-4 hours a month and can be completed primarily from the comfort of your own home.
